CONTINUOUS LEARNING

Whatever your position on our team, learning and development is supported from the day you begin with us and continues throughout your career. Our extensive training and mentorship programs help new team members understand our corporate culture and strategies, the kind of business we are in and what is expected of them. Information about all of the learning options available to our team, including internal and external programs, is accessible through the Learning and Development Manager.

LEARNING GOALS

All office associates at Weis Builders are provided 33 hours per year of formalized learning and development. Monthly learning sessions are presented in-house as ASK (Associate Skill and Knowledge) Sessions, by a variety of associates and external resources. ASK Session topics range from job specific to life skills, and are developed with input from all Weis Associates.

COMMUNITY LEARNING

Effective learning is just as much about communicating as it is learning from others. To facilitate this, Brown Bag Sessions are scheduled during lunchtime so that everyone has a chance to hear and learn from fellow teammates and visiting professionals.

CAREER PROGRAMS

For Weis Builders career paths, we provide dedicated development programs. Across all areas, we offer open access to all development opportunities in order to facilitate your continued personal growth.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

At Weis Builders, we create and foster a development culture within which associates are encouraged to take increasing responsibility and ownership for their career development. Through planned programs such as self-assessment, career planning workshops, career coaching and on-line learning, associates can set realistic career goals and plans.
