The doors are open at North Eastern Illinois Universities student resident housing, The Nest! Congratulations to our Chicago team on the completion right in time for the 2016-17 school year. This six-story project was over 160,000 square feet with 110 units (440 student beds). Students will have the choice between a two-bedroom/ two-bathroom or a four-bedroom/ four-bathroom configuration. Both options will come fully furnished, including sectional sofa, entertainment center and kitchen appliances. Residents will have access to a fitness center, washers/ dryers on each floor, computer center with Mac computers and private study lounges available. Before completion of this project, NEIU was the only public university in Illinois without a residence hall.
