General Contractor, Weis Builders recently broke ground on a Home2 Suites by Hilton in Fargo, ND. Home2 Suites is Hilton’s first new brand in 20 years and the location in Fargo will be the first Home2 Suites in the Midwest.

The 4-story, extended-stay hotel features 107-suites comprised of studios and one-bedrooms. The contemporary hotel features an open lobby with approximately 4,200 square feet of community space. Additional amenities include a pool, patio with grills, outdoor seating areas, a 24-hour business center, an exercise trail that circles the property and an integrated guest laundry and exercise space.

Multiple sustainable elements are incorporated into the hotel. Guest suites feature low-flow showers and faucets, compact fluorescent light bulbs, dual-flush toilets, recycled flooring and carpet tiles and Energy Star appliances. In addition, each hotel features recycling centers, a saline-based pool, surfaces made from recycled content, and landscaping that includes indigenous-only plants to minimize water usage and irrigation needs.

Construction is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2014.
